the site uses google analytics 4 to understand basic website usage: how many people visit, which pages they open, roughly where traffic comes from (for example x, linkedin or github), and whether the relocated.ai link is used. google ireland limited / google llc processes this data as a processor and may transfer it outside the eu.

google analytics may process: ip address (used by google for coarse location and then shortened), user agent and device/browser characteristics, referring url, pages viewed, interaction events, and — only with consent — a randomly generated identifier stored in a cookie.

google consent mode is used. before you make a choice, and after a rejection, analytics_storage is set to denied, so google analytics does not read or write analytics cookies and no persistent identifier is stored on your device. advertising consent signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are always denied; this site runs no advertising, remarketing or advertising pixels.

important technical detail: with consent mode active, the google tag can still send cookieless measurement pings to google while analytics_storage is denied. these pings contain technical request information such as ip address and page url, but no cookie based identifier. it would be inaccurate to claim that nothing at all is transmitted before consent.

if you accept, analytics_storage is set to granted and google analytics may set its cookies. you can change your choice at any time below; rejecting also attempts to delete existing analytics cookies for this domain.

no cookies are set before you accept analytics. after acceptance google analytics may set: _ga (contains a randomly generated client identifier, typically 2 years) and _ga_<container-id> (session state for this property, typically 2 years). these are set by the google tag in your browser, on this domain. no other cookies are used.

two items may be stored in your browser's local storage: your chosen theme (light or night, key "theme") and your analytics choice (granted or denied, key "analytics-consent"). they are kept separate, contain no personal information, stay on your device, are never sent anywhere by this site, and can be cleared through your browser settings.

the "copy" control next to the email address writes the address to your clipboard using your browser's clipboard api. nothing is transmitted to any server.

the email link opens your own mail application. there is no contact form and no server-side email handling on this site. if you email me, i receive and read that message in my mailbox.

web fonts are loaded from google fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). when a font is requested, google receives your ip address and standard request information.

the google analytics tag is loaded from googletagmanager.com and sends measurement requests to google-analytics.com. google tag manager itself is not used; the tag is loaded directly. no advertising, heatmap, session recording or fingerprinting tools are present.

links to x, linkedin, github, relocated.ai and jense.eth lead to services operated by others. their own privacy practices apply once you leave this site.

the site is served by a hosting provider that, like any web host, processes technical request data such as ip address, user agent and requested url in order to deliver the page and keep it secure.
